Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Folder to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately folding and assembling various metal and sheet components, ensuring precision and quality throughout the process. This role requires familiarity with manufacturing equipment, mechanical knowledge, and a commitment to safety and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Operate folding machines, press brake machines, CNC laser cutting, CNC milling machines, CNC lathe, and other related equipment to fold sheet metal and components according to specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics to determine folding requirements.
- Use hand tools, calipers, and other measuring devices to ensure parts meet quality standards.
- Perform quality inspections on finished products to verify accuracy and adherence to specifications.
- Set up and adjust machinery for different projects, ensuring proper calibration for precise folds.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with team members on assembly processes when necessary.
- Assist in troubleshooting mechanical issues related to folding equipment and perform basic maintenance as needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience with CNC machinery such as CNC laser cutting, CNC programming, CNC milling machine, CNC lathe, or plasma cutting is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of welding, machining, blueprint reading, mechanical systems, and assembly processes.
- Ability to operate cranes, forklifts, and other heavy machinery safely (certifications preferred).
- Strong understanding of basic math for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks.
- Familiarity with hand tools, calipers, quality inspection procedures, and mechanical knowledge.
- Prior experience in manufacturing or metal fabrication environments is preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on precision and quality standards.

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
